Mahmoud Issa è un giovane fotografo freelance palestinese. Vive e lavora nella città di Gaza, nell'omonima striscia di territorio, un tema privilegiato dei suoi reportages che raccontano una verità disincantata di questo luogo ancora oggi tormentato da una storia difficile.
Ha documentato il conflitto israelo-palestinese tra il 2012 e il 2014.

Suryene Ramaget, fotografo freelance autodidatta, intrattiene con le regioni geografiche dell’India e Pakistan un rapporto privilegiato, essendo nato egli stesso da quelle parti, figlio di un ufficiale francese in servizio in India e madre siciliana.
La sua personale deontologia di reporter è quella di non invadere in alcun modo le vite altrui, di non fare un solo scatto prima d’essere accettato, non prima di essere riconosciuto come ospite che non ruba ma conquista le sue immagini.

Suryene Ramaget, a freelance photographer, self-taught, has a privileged relationship with the geographical regions of India and Pakistan, having been born himself in those parts, the son of a French officer in service in India and a Sicilian mother.
His personal ethics as a reporter is not to invade the lives of others in any way, not to take a single shot before being accepted, not before being recognized as a guest who does not steal but conquers his images.
I LOTTATORI KUSHTI
Il “Kushti”è un’antica forma di lotta praticata nell’Asia meridionale. Si combatte in ring di terra argillosa rossa, chiamati "Akhada", o sulla nuda terra. La dieta dei lottatori è molto rigida così come lo stile di vita quasi ascetico. Non è concesso bere, fumare e fare sesso. Lo scopo è concentrarsi su uno stile di vita puro per aumentare la propria forza.
KUSHTI FIGHTERS
“Kushti" is an ancient form of struggle practiced in South Asia. You fight in the ring of red clay soil, called "Akhada", or on the bare ground. The wrestlers' diet is very rigid as is the almost ascetic lifestyle. Drinking, smoking and sex are not allowed. The aim is to focus on a pure lifestyle to increase one's strength.
